Edublogs is a blog host for teachers.  (I'm probably not explaining that very well.)  Since it is just for educators and doesn't link to other blogs it is safer than blogspot or something where kids could get anywhere very easily.

My class has started a blog with Edublogs.  My kids want avatars, but I don't want to use photos.  I'm not very experienced with avatars and use a photo for my own personal use.  Do any of you have any ideas or suggestions for avatars for students?
