TUXPAINT, TUXTYPE, and TUXMATH are all free programs you can download that are open source projects.

tuxpaint - free version of a paint program similar in many respects to KIDPIX
tuxtype - free typing tutor program
tuxmath - free math blaster type/style program.

Question for tux type users -- how do you change the text etc... so that it isn't all religous related?

We have tuxpaint and tuxtype set up for our kids to use.  It is easy and fun.  They can also load it at home and practice/play.
