Julie and others interested in clay animation-

Floral wire should be just fine. I even made home made play-doh from a recipe on the Internet for the students to use instead of modeling clay.

Frames is the preferred software for this endeavor. You can find it at tech4learning.com. I did not have that software to use this spring when I had my students do a clay animation project so we used Photostory 3. It worked okay and it is a free download whereas Frames is a program you will have to purchase.

Subject: [eMINTS] claymation movies

I'm trying claymation movies with my summer school group and I have a couple of questions even though I've found great resources on the web.

1. What kind of wire do you use? Will floral wire work?
2. What software did you use for the movie? Will Movie Maker work?

thanks,
Julie
