Check out the NASA Sci Files website.  I use it a lot and you can download the episodes that go with the activities.  The lessons are not just about space, either.  They even have a real world computer simulation for problem based learning with each unit.  Hope it helps!

I am looking for resources to purchase to help me teach the 5th grade
science GLE's.  We do not have a textbook, and I am fine with locating
online resources for background information and reading, but sometimes I
need hands-on activities that would help teach the GLE.  

Over break I counted up and realized there are twice as many science
GLE's at fifth grade than in any other subject.  Since we are supposed
to MAP test science in 2008 I would like to build my resources.

There are so many books available it become very time consuming and
expensive to purchase all of them and to sort through and pick things to
use.  If you have a resource that you love for hands-on activities I
would appreciate the title or publisher.   If you want to email me
individually that would be fine.
