[eMINTS] absent assignment sheets

I have an account with School Notes (www.schoolnotes.com) where 
I'm able to update my assignments everyday.  The account was free 
(although you could purchase one with additional features) and I linked 
it directly to my class website.  If a student is absent I just have the 
person sitting next to them print out the webpage and leave it on the 
absent student's desk.  I've been using this approach for a year now 
and have had very little problems.  You can also set it up to have an 
email link to your school email account.
